When I was on the island of Ebeye, I lived with my parents, who do not want me to say bad words. When I grew up I heard from someone in my school that he had his first kiss already. So I ask him, what is a kiss? And he said: a kiss is when you put your lips to some girl’s lips. Then as I grew older I really wanted to experience this thing call kissing. So one day we went on a picnic in Kwajalein, and there I met a girl that was not a Marshallese; she was Hawaiian- Japanese. I asked my friends about her and they gave me a nice description of her that I really liked. So I decided to ask her out, and as I was going near her, her father came and blocked my way. I didn’t realize that that was her father but I acted like I knew the man. As we introduced ourselves to each other, I asked her if we could take a walk. So we went to the place called Eman Beach, where we sat down on the sand and got to know each other better. After we talked for a while I asked her if she could come and join my family for dinner. She did, and she chatted with my mom for about 3 hours before I walked her home. So as we reached the front door of her house, the atmosphere of love came around. We were getting closer to each other so that we could hear each others’ breathing. Then she whispered into my ear saying that she had a really had a good time. I said, so did I. and we kissed. The first kiss was a 1st graders’ kiss, then I was going to go back when she pulled me towards her and give me the best kiss that I had ever have in my entire life. I called it the 5 unforgettable seconds. And now you know.
